Statement
My focus is southern color. How does our sense of color change as we age? Do older people prefer muted, tones, closer to grays or is that a cultural bias? Are primary colors shorthand for toddler colors? Without sound, can you tell, within the first 5 minutes of a movie if you are watching something of Korean or Mexican origin? If it is from the Pacific rim or the Atlantic rim? If the cinematographer is young or seasoned? My paintings are not about images as much as they are about color influences.
